Lue sama suomeksi!

My greatest motivation comes from the God-created nature! As I look around and see all of the beutiful things just screaming "take my picture", what else can I do but shoot away. Only while photographing have I come to appreciate the unique Finnish nature and the opportunity to just step outside and find subjects worth a photograph. This sunset is but a one example.

Nowadays I try to use my precious time efficiently, seeking opportunities where I expect good pictures to arise. Such an example is a town bathing in an evening sunshine, soon to be tucked in by a colourful sunset. This way I'm able to retain my motivation in the future as well, as every time I catch a couple of photos worth looking at.

I'm also happy that I can delight people with my pictures, be it photographing friends' weddings, public events or even pictures for newspapers. I'm especially proud of my first photograph, published in a newspaper -an October issue of Aamulehti, the second biggest newspaper in Finland.

I seek to help my aquantances by doing some photography for free, but I have started commercial photography under a business name as well and I hope to finance my hobby with the revenue produced by the business. This way I can also afford to, and have the resources, to do some free photography, as need be.
